In the graph above, we are able to see latrine use by sex and level of education for people who live in households that have a latrine. What the graph shows is that even among highly educated individuals who have a latrine, a sizeable proportion still defecate in the open.\"), mdx(\"p\", null, \"Of course, more educated people are more likely to use the latrines they have than less educated people, and women are more likely to use their latrines than men at every level of education. But, what is striking is that close to 20% of men who have studied up to the 12th class still defecate in the open even though they have a latrine at home.
